Hints on How to Write An Illinois Performance Excellence Application

This workshop provides your organization with the opportunity to further understand the Baldrige Criteria and the application process, and information on how to effectively communicate process and outcomes. It will assist your organization in getting started on evaluating where you are in the organizational process, help in writing an application with tips and examples on how to get the most out of your application, and understanding key points of the criteria in relationship to your organization. This workshop allows you to obtain guidance from an experienced examiner and judge.

This one-day workshop will focus on the components of the Baldrige Criteria, Category 2, Strategic Planning, to guide you and your colleagues in developing strategic objectives and action plans. Learn how to identify your organizations key strategic objectives, its challenges and advantages, and the processes needed to integrate your strategy with your organization, workforce and stakeholders. Learn the components of implementing a strategy process: action plan development; action plan implementation; resource location; Workforce plans; performance measures; and action plan modifications. This workshop can serve as your guide for successful strategy execution. The workshop is designed for leadership of small to medium-size Organizations but appropriate for any leader focused on long-term success and searching for a strategic Planning and execution process that serves as a dynamic resource, with actionable steps.

Champions for Baldrige Criteria

A two-day workshop to develop knowledge and skills on how to utilize the criteria for the Illinois Performance Excellence Program and Baldrige Performance Excellence Program. Develop some skills of an examiner, without the time commitment required to serve as an examiner. The workshop is taught through the use of a case study and is a great way for staff in your organization to learn and begin to apply the Criteria.
